The Board has viewed the matter seriously and assured that appropriate action would be taken against the institution that had leaked the question paper.

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has lodged a complaint with the police in connection with the question paper leak of political science subject of ongoing Class 11 promotion examination.
NBSE chairman, Asano Sekhose said that the Board has viewed the matter seriously and assured that appropriate action would be taken against the institution that had leaked the question paper.
She said in order to maintain the sanctity of the examination, the Board had uploaded second set of political science on Monday and the examination would continue as scheduled and that the remaining subjects Question papers would be uploaded on the day of the examination at 8 a.m.
Aseno also cautioned all institutions that any circular, notification received from the Board meant for the schools are not to be circulated in any other social media groups.
The NBSE chairman further directed all institutions conducting any examination to take utmost care and maintain strict confidentiality as well as expected from the head of institutions to maintain integrity and conduct the examination with dignity.
It may be mentioned that the question paper leak was detected on Sunday evening.
