Tagkhul Naga Wungnao Long (Tangkhul Chiefs Association) has expressed gratitude and appreciation to Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh, central BJP leaders and Shurhozelie Liezietsu, NPF president, central Kohima for the cabinet berth accorded to Ukhrul District.
A press released jointly issued by TNWL president SA Ramnganing and general secretary Kaphaoleng Angkang stated that ” The office of the Tangkhul Naga Wungnao Long would like to express our appreciation to Manipur’s Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh, Central BJP Leaders and Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, NPF President, Central Kohima for the cabinet berth accorded to long-neglected Tangkhul community. “While congratulating minister Khashim Vashum, MLA of 45-Chingai Assembly Constituency for the new responsibility he had been entrusted, TNWL as the guardian of customary law would like to counsel him to bear the cross and carry forward the task ahead in the service of community and the state as a whole.
