The demands include taking action against illegal taxes and extortion on NH-2, providing compensation to affected individuals, and addressing the NPO, SDWA, and SDSA’s dissatisfaction with a recent notice issued by a valley based group.
The agreement outlines that if the government fails to fulfill these assurances, the blockade will be reinstated. The memorandum was signed by Deputy Commissioner Mamoni Doley, along with leaders of NPO, SDWA, and SDSA, marking a temporary truce in hopes of a lasting resolution.
