Punjab National Bank, Circle Office Imphal under CSR activities handed over medical equipment worth Rs 10 Lakh to the District Hospital

Punjab National Bank (PNB) Circle Office Imphal under CRS activities donated medical equipment worth Rs. 10 lakh to Ukhrul District Hospital. The handing over programme was held at the premise of Ukhrul District Hospital on Tuesday.
Medical Superintendent of Ukhrul District Hospital, Dr Reisangmi Raikhan on August 12, 2021 had written to the Zonal Manager of PNB requesting for upscaling the medical facilities of Ukhrul District Hospital through CRS contribution from the bank. Accordingly, the PNB has responded positively and provided an Audiometer machine, ENT Operating Microscope, ECG machine, Arterial Blood Gas Analysis machine, OT Shadowless Lamp and IOPA Dental X-ray machine and handed the same on Tuesday to the hospital authority.
Dr Reisangmi Raikhan stated, “I, on behalf of all the staff of District Hospital, Ukhrul and Health Department, Ukhrul District would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Punjab National Bank for the generous donation of medical equipments worth Rs 10 Lakhs under Corporate Social Responsibility activities today.”
The medical equipment donated to District Hospital includes Audiometer machine, ENT Operating Microscope, ECG machine, Arterial Blood Gas Analysis machine, OT Shadowless Lamp and IOPA Dental X-ray machine.
The medical kits were handed over to the Hospital by Stevan Aimol, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank Imphal Circle and Raj Kamal Roy, Marketing Officer, PNB and team in the presence Chief Medical Officer, Ukhrul District, Dr AS Kapangring and Medical Superintendent, Dr Reisangmi Raikhan and staff of District Hospital, Ukhrul.
The medical equipment donated by Punjab National Bank today will greatly improve the quality and standard of health care services of the Hospital by closing the health infrastructure gap of the Hospital. The denizens of Ukhrul District would also be directly benefited by such noble activities of the bank in the years to come in the health care sector.
