The student body said that it will also extend help to homes and orphanages in interior parts of the state where the state government has not been able to reach.

With an aim to help people affected by the lockdown induced by COVID-19 pandemic, Bangalore Manipur Students’ Association (BMSA) on Tuesday contributed essential commodities including groceries, hand sanitizers, face mask amongst others, to Yaibilen Children Home Sanapat, Keibi Khullen.
In a statement, BMSA highlighted that its volunteers have been helping Manipuris in Bengaluru and elderly people in Manipur, at old age homes, since 2020 when a nationwide lockdown was imposed in the first wave.
Stating that the student body will continue to provide aid to children homes, orphanages, old age homes, etc, BMSA informed that the help extended on Tuesday to Yaibilen Children Home is part of its first phase. The student body also said that it will also extend help to homes and orphanages in interior parts of the state where the state government has not been able to reach.
