Anouba Imagi Mangal (AIM) on Friday defeated Nambul Mapal Athletic and Cultural Organisation (NACO) by a lone goal at the ongoing 29th edition of Shirui Lily Cup 2021 – National Level Football Tournament being held at Ukhrul Headquarters.
AIM found the net through E. Joykishan (Jersey No. 14) in the 5th minutes. With the win, AIM booked a berth for semi-final clash with the winner of match No. 5 to be played between Shillong Lajong FC and United Brothers FC on November 29, 2021.
AIM is the title holder of last edition of Shirui Lily Cup in 2011.
Meanwhile, squad of TRAU FC arrived Ukhrul for tomorrow showdown with Yarkhok United FC of Ukhrul.
Tiddim Road Athletic Union Football Club (TRAU FC), is an Indian professional football club based in Imphal, Manipur and was founded in 2 October 1954.
