Zeliangrong United Front chairman Raitu Chawang greeted the Zeliangrong people of Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland and all the different neighbouring communities living in Northeast India, the village chairmen, leaders of different organizations, demolitions or faith, and comrades of ZUF and ZTF on the decadal raising day of the armed outfit on Friday.
“I thank the Almighty God for his plentiful blessings and guidance that sustained us physically, mentally, and spiritually throughout these years (10 years) despite the ups and downs that come across in our journey,” the chairman said in a statement.
The Zeliangrong United Front acknowledge and concede the untiring and unending supports being rendered by our beloved people of Zeliangrong across the region and further appeal to continue to lend us your helping hand as we march forward relentlessly following the footsteps of our pioneering legends Haipou Jadonang and Rani Gaidinliu, it said.
“It is my humble appeal to all that peace and tranquillity prevail among our kindred tribes and amongst different groups, ethnic and indigenous communities in the region. I urge every sensible citizen to desist and restraint from any form of violence which may result in loss of life, property, or vis-a-vis.”
The Zeliangrong United Front as a member of the NNPGs – WC had and shall continue to render our unyielding support for the early honourable and acceptable Naga solution, the chairman added.
“We promise you that we shall continue to be a vanguard for the future of our Zeliangrong community in particular and the Nagas as a whole.”
