As part of the World Toilet Day 2022, PHED Ukhrul Division organised Swachhta Run at Ukhrul Headquarters on Saturday. The run started from Gandhi Circle, Phungreitang and wrap up at Mini Secretariat Complex, Hamleikhong, Ukhrul. Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Krishna Kumar flagged off the Swachhta Run.

The objective of “Swachhta Run” is to create awareness among the people about the importance of usage of toilet, safe sanitation, visual cleanliness and align them to the SBM-G Phase II components.
The campaign will increase awareness to promote behaviour change and community action towards ODF Plus India.
