NITI Dimapur conducts orientation for medical, engineering aspirants

More than 100 students from various science schools in and around Dimapur and repeaters from Nagaland and Assam participated in the orientation, besides parents and public leaders. Free demo classes for schools will continue till August 10 by the expert faculties for the interested schools

National Institute of Technology and Innovation (NITI), Dimapur, on Thursday conducted a free orientation session for the science students of Nagaland regarding medical & engineering career possibilities for youth.

The underlining theme was to have studies locally without the extra expenses of travel, hostel stays, and fear of cultural differences while being away from home.

NITI’s expert and experienced faculties Dr Abdul Hafeez, Ph.D, JNU (ex-Aakash Faculty), Prof Dr Ajay Sharma, M Tech, IIT Guwahati (ex-Allen Faculty), and Ashwani Choubey,  M.Sc, IIT, Bombay, and pursuing Ph.D  at IIT, Guwahati (Narayana faculty) conducted the session, besides Er. Rishav Sethi, DTU, Delhi, and Divya Sethi, Audiologist, AIISH, Mysore.

All the faculties offered the demo classes for the benefit of the attendees.

In his keynote address, Dr Hafeez highlighted the advantages of being a part of NITI Institute for science students in particular at the same time shared that schooling and NEET/JEE preparation under one roof, expert & experienced faculties availability from Northern India, comprehensive study materials, availability of interactive smart board, air-conditioned classrooms, online/ offline weekly tests, batches of 20 students, scholarships for meritorious students, result-oriented teaching, library access & micro-level analysis of performance are the unique offerings.

Speaking on the occasion, Dimapur Marwari & Jain Samaj president Om Prakash Sethi commended the Sethi families’ new venture in the formal education-related sector which will further continue the journey of the last 25 years in serving the society.

Meanwhile, Ajay Sethi, MD, NITI, Dimapur, offered the welcome address while Er. Rishav Sethi, CEO, of NITI, Dimapur, gave the vote of thanks.
