A highly placed source who attended the meeting said discussion centred on Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and the recent December 4 and 5 Oting-Tizu massacre. Another meeting has been scheduled in February.

Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) and state legislators on Saturday held the much “hyped” closed door meeting at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. The media was debarred from covering the meeting.
Disclosing that the meet which was attended by Nagaland government representatives including ministers, advisors, and NGOs, a highly placed source who attended meeting said the discussion was centred on Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and the December 4 and 5 Oting-Tizu massacre.
The meeting was based on “feedbacks” on state government’s performance. It was learnt that three apex bodies of the CNTC attended the meeting.
