Keithelmanbi Solam Baptist Church felicitates Nemcha Kipgen; prays for future endeavours towards better Manipur

Keithelmanbi Solam Baptist Church, KBC Gambih No.5 felicitated Textiles, Commerce and Industry, and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Sunday at the Church campus during a Thanksgiving and blessing ceremony.

It was the first appearance of the newly re-elected BJP MLA of 50-Kangpokpi AC Nemcha Kipgen as a cabinet minister.

Nemcha was allotted Textiles, Commerce, and Industry Department apart from the Cooperation department after being sworn in as a cabinet minister.

The Minister also made her first appearance as a newly re-elected MLA, before she was sworn in as a Minister, during a Gospel visual album releasing ceremony organized by the same church on the same avenue.

Rev. Jamkhohao Haokip attended the occasion a thanksgiving and blessing Minister.

He continued that as the Church wishes to see her success in her new endeavor as a cabinet minister of the state towards building a better Manipur through the various departments allotted to her, organized the Thanksgiving and Blessing program while we also felicitated her on being sworn in as a cabinet minister with the new portfolios recently allotted.

He said that it was also a demonstration of our gratitude and contentment over her dedication and commitment towards the upliftment of the Church.

The Textiles, Commerce, and Industry and Cooperation Minister, Nemcha Kipgen said that it is nothing but a blessing of God to serve the people of Manipur once again and I will play my part sincerely and commit myself towards building a better Manipur through the various departments allotted to me.

The Minister also recalled that during the election campaign, I always started and culminated my days with a prayer and many people also blessed me with their unceasing prayer which accounts for God’s blessing upon us.

“I obviously witnessed in the recently concluded assembly election that when God is with us nothing is impossible”, the Minister added.

She also thanked the KSBC including the men’s and women’s departments and youth’s departments for their support through their valuable prayer during the election.

Rev. Jamkhohao Haokip led the thanksgiving and blessing prayer for the Minister as the minister kneeled on the ground and all the ordained deacons, Pastor, and other church leaders prayed for her.

The church also presented a mammoth memento and other gifts to the Minister as a mark of gratitude and felicitation during the program.

Promising Thadou Kuki gospel singers such as Lunngaineng Touthang, Lhingjoycy Khongsai, Kimminnei and Sasang also attended the program and enthralled the crowd with their melodious voice.

An offering was also made by Lunjagou Kipgen, head deacon of the Church.
