According to reports, the unfortunate accident occurred due to steering failure of the car (i10 Grande) they were travelling in.

In an unfortunate accident, a 32-year-old doctor and his mother died in a road accident at Makhan Village, Senapati district on Thursday.
Dr Franco Heisnam along with his mother Heisnam (o) Meme (50), reportedly died at the spot, while Heisnam Satrajit (59), father of the deceased doctor survived with injuries.
The incident took place around 1:30 pm when the family of three was on their way to drop off Dr Franco, who got posted at a COVID testing centre situated at Mao Gate. He was supposed to join his new posting on Thursday.
According to reports, the unfortunate accident occurred due to steering failure of the car (i10 Grande) they were traveling in. Eight volunteers from the Red Cross Society, Manipur rushed to the scene and Satrajit was brought to Raj Medicity who is now under observation at the ICU.
