Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) condoled the demise of the founder president of its Jiribam unit, Huirem (o) Memma. A one-minute silent condolence was observed by the members of CADA at its head office on Friday.

Ima Memma of Chandpur, Jiribam district, died due to an illness on December 15, stated a condolence message by CADA. The coalition also joined the bereaved family in such an hour of grief.
Stating that Ima Memma worked towards the welfare of the people relentlessly during her life, CADA said that she served as a president of the Jiri Apunba Meira Paibi Lup (JIMPAL), apart from being an advisor to the CADA unit of Jiribam, after serving as its president for a long time.
She took part in different movements and agitations of the state, and worked towards achieving a healthy society by eradicating illicit substances from the state, the message added.
