Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi has been appointed as the state president of BJP Manipur on Saturday.
BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, in the appointment letter informed that BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed Sharda Devi as state president of Manipur BJP with immediate effect.
Elated Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh took to Twitter to congratulate the new state president.
“Under your able leadership, the party will be able to achieve greater heights and fulfil the aspirations of the people of Manipur,” CM Biren tweeted.
The chief minister later felicitated the newly appointed BJP Manipur president at his office.
Minister Biswajit also took to Twitter to congratulate the new state president.
“Your experiences, will and perseverance is surely going to be beneficial for BJP in Manipur,” he wrote.
