UNLF (Pambei) said that Poireinganba was a “deserter and absconder”. This persons joined the UNLF MPA 35th batch in 2009 July. After receiving BMT, he deserted MPA as he could not perform his responsibilities. However, when violence broke after May 3, 2023, he wanted to rejoin MPA and was under observation. As per the press statement, Poireinganba once again acted against the “party” by aligning with another armed group. He was given strict warning and left on November 3, 2024 with a permission for 5-day leave but he never returned or reported back to the camp and became an “absconder/deserted”. Since then, he had severed all relations with UNLF (Pambei).
