NSCN (I-M) ato kilonser and general secretary Th Muivah, who had been admitted at the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CISHR) since July 24 has been discharged from the hospital Monday afternoon.
When contacted, a highly placed source from the NSCN (I-M) disclosed to TFM that Muivah was discharged as his health condition improved.
Though Muivah was taken to an undisclosed place due to security reasons, the source also informed that a regular health check-up would be conducted and he would also be under health monitoring for the next three to four days.
The NSCN (IM) leader was admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors attending him during a visit to the hospital for a normal check-up just a day before he was to leave for Delhi for his routine medical check-up.
Muivah had a history of allergy (throat irritation) and earlier was to consult ENT doctors but due to the pandemic and also the call of the recently held core committee meet on the Naga political issue, he deferred the consultations.
