Khesheto urged his ward residents to take the ULB and town council elections seriously and to elect the right candidate to represent them. He emphasized that, in addition to addressing common grievances such as water supply, electricity, and issues in the education and healthcare systems, his focus is also on ensuring that the community’s voice is heard.

Though he was denied the BJP ticket to serve people, however, the independent candidate, felt that it is a blessing in disguise and called upon all Nagas to change their mindset by citing that one needs to introspect rather than retrospect for a change in the Naga society.

He further went on to add that if he is elected, a plan on various issues including drainage systems will be implemented by inviting experts to oversee the problems.
