Nearly after a month after the December 4 and 5 Oting-Tizu firing incidents where 15 persons were reportedly killed in a massacre allegedly by Indian armed securities, the Nagaland Government on Friday has approved for appointing the “next and kins” of the civilians killed.
According to a communiqué issued by Home Commissioner, Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, the posts would be filled up to the vacant posts in the offices/departments of the State Government in Mon district.
It further stated that all the appointing authorities concerned have been directed to issue the necessary appointment order to the persons as mentioned in the lists at the earliest.
