Community Health Centre, Saikul Kangpokpi district authority extended gratitude to Manipur Emergency Support Group led by Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet, Consultant Emergency Medicine, Birmingham, UK, and his retinue around the globe for donating essential medical items to the health centre.
It is indeed applaudable, the efforts of Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet and his retinue who have donated NS-25 nos., RL-25 nos., IV Set-10 nos., IV Cannula-10 nos., Hand Sanitizer-1 bottle (5 litres), Sodium Hypochloride-1 jar (5 litres), Hand Gloves-6 Boxes, Alcohol Spirit-2 Bottles, Surgical Mask-500 pieces, N95 Mask-50 pieces, and Oxygen Mask (Hi-Flow/flexi)-6 nos. to be utilised at CHC, Saikul, said Dr. John Lupheng, MO in-charge CHC Saikul.
He continued that such humanitarian initiative amid the unabated health crisis is worthy of praise and urged the public to co-operate and extend a helping hand in fighting against COVID-19.
He also said that such assistance will support the frontline workers and the health centre to safely and effectively deliver an enhanced public health response that is required to trace, treat and contain the transmission of the virus in the communities and protect the lives of all.
The CHC Saikul authority also wished Dr. Elangbam Bishwajeet and his team great success in their future endeavours.
