As part of “Jan seva abhiyan”, the Assam Rifles organised a mobile vaccination drive at Makui village.
As many as 70 persons, including 18 years above and 45 years above, were vaccinated. Differently abled persons were also vaccinated during the drive on Sunday, according to Makui Village Authority chairman NK Silakbou.
The vaccination drive was conducted by 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sect AR/IGAR(E). The Unit Chief Medical Officer and Post Commander of 44 AR Gelnal assisted the drive to strengthen the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic and facilitate access to the nationwide ‘’Covid Vaccination Drive” and to assist in curbing the spread of deadly coronavirus.
Expressing his gratitude towards the AR, NK Silakbou stated: “Together we can defeat the pandemic by being vaccinated”.
