Singer Ananya Birla from Mumbai is all set for her debut performance in the Northeast. She will be opening for MLTR on November 29, 2022 at HVS Compound, Patsoi, Imphal.

The platinum artiste and business woman will be performing prior to the Danish soft rock band MLTR hit the stage on 29th November 2022 at HVS Compund, Patsoi, Imphal.
Director of 7 Sisters Foundation, Sunny Shimrah informed this correspondent that “Ananya Birla is delighted to perform in the region where the people have given her music so much love. She anticipates to connect with the crowd and share the kindred love for music.”
With over 500 million streams, Ananya is also India’s biggest selling English language global popstar, and has scaled the charts at home in India as well as overseas. With three back-to-back double platinum selling singles and two platinum selling singles, Ananya is unstoppable. The MTV EMA nominee, began her musical journey at the age of 9 with the santoor, an Indian instrument. A skilled musician, Ananya incorporates her drumming, piano and guitar skills into live performances. Ananya was voted one of GQ’s Most Influential Young Indians, Miss Vogue’s 28 Geniuses Under 28, and has graced the cover of Forbes Women to Watch. Her independently released singles have seen her collaborate with A.R. Rahman for the official Team India Olympic cheer song, landed her on New Music Friday USA, and made her the only Indian to be named as Sirius Hits Artists To Watch Out For among others.
Ananya is an artist and business woman. At the age of 17, Ananya started Svatantra Microfin, the youngest and fastest growing microfinance company. Sunny Shimrah also informed that “an English soft rock singer and original lead singer of Smokie, Chris Norman and Band will now perfom at HVS Compound, Patsoi, Imphal on 1 December 2022 and not on 29th November 2022 as announced earlier. There has been slight change in the earlier schedule to avoid colliding with the closing ceremony of Sangai Festival 2022.”
